Prudence is known as “The Dancing Chef.” She is a TV chef, culinary educator, food journalist and is a chef on Better Connecticut, WFSB and writes about food and wine pairing with her husband, Bob Chaplin. Joel is a wig stylist for several of Connecticut's local theaters and hair salon owner and manager with his wife Linda.

Since 2009, Prudence & Joel have teamed together to create a dynamic dance duo and have performed on the Hartford Stage, Majestic Theater, the Hartford Club, the Ivoryton Theater Playhouse, the Omni Mount Washington Resort Hotel in Bretton Woods, NH, New Britain Museum of American Art and for numerous commercial, private and charitable events.

Joel is known across New England for his gentleman charm, expert dance skills and musicality, his sense of humor, and his "joie de vivre". Teamed with Prudence’s dancing grace, playfulness and stage presence this duo combines dances and music of all eras, theatrics, costumes and choreography into fun and entertaining dance vignettes.
